Join a Growing Orthopedic Surgery Dept. in Southern IL

Carle Health System is actively recruiting for an experienced and dynamic, BE/BC Orthopaedic Surgeon to partner with us in building a high quality, full-service program in the Southeastern Illinois region. Carle is a physician-led, vertically integrated health system that includes more than 500 physicians across 80 different specialties and subspecialties providing patient-focused, world-class care.

Practice opportunity details include:

• Current practice includes medical and sports orthopedics with the opportunity to expand services to cover more complex cases such as total joint replacements and shoulders
• Call will be shared with one other Orthopaedic Surgeon and one Physician Assistant
• Surgeries will be performed at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital (CRMH), a 104-bed HFAP accredited facility with 5 OR’s that serves 8 Southeastern Illinois counties (109,000+ individuals)
• CRMH is a part of Carle Health System, based in East Central Illinois with a service area of 1.4 million residents
• CRMH has a strong outpatient therapy services program that includes home health. “Swing Bed” inpatient rehabilitation is also available for patients that are not ready to return home.
• Block surgical time and clinic at CRMH with additional time for hospital rounding and consultation daily
• Olney is one hour from Evansville, Indiana and is less than three hours from Indianapolis and St. Louis. The community offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities that include fishing lakes, community parks, an aquatic center and an 18-hole golf course.
