Geisinger Health System’s Department of Dermatology is seeking fellowship trained Dermatologic Surgeons to join our expanding practice at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre.
The department based in Wilkes Barre is located in a new outpatient clinic adjacent to Geisinger’s 243 bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma center. Wilkes Barre is an area of rapid growth for our department. Residents and Mohs surgery fellows from Danville rotate weekly. The area is located near the Pocono Mountains and many state parks which offer a variety of activities in all seasons including skiing, mountain biking, hiking and kayaking. The more metropolitan area offers great restaurant selections, shopping and fitness options such as yoga and cross fit. There is a local airport with flights daily to all area of the US. Wilkes Barre is a simple two -hour commute to NYC and Philadelphia and daily bus transportation is available to NYC.

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 274 beds, and houses the only Level II Trauma center in Luzerne County.
