We seek a BC/BE Clinical Geneticist to join our thriving Medical Genetics division which consists of 2 physicians, 2 advanced practitioners and 4 genetic counselors and delivers high quality, comprehensive genetics care to our diverse community.
Position Highlights –
Direct patient care position in primarily outpatient setting with some inpatient consult responsibility. Practice in our beautiful state-of-the-art outpatient facility in Springfield, MA. The Medical Genetics program is housed within our Department of Pediatrics but cares for patients throughout the lifespan.
Provide direct patient care in the areas of reproductive, pediatric and adult genetics, as well as Lysosomal Storage Diseases and hereditary cancer syndromes.
Combination of clinical care and resident & medical student teaching with a University of Massachusetts School of Medicine faculty appointment commensurate with experience.
Scholarship, including clinical, QI and outcomes-based research is encouraged.
Metabolic training is desirable.
Ample opportunity to develop a subspecialty niche and expand professional interests.
