Connecticut Children's Medical Center, a nationally recognized, 187-bed not-for-profit children's hospital which serves as the primary teaching facility for the University of Connecticut School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, has an exciting opportunity to join The Division of Pulmonary Medicine as we expand our servicesin western Connecticut. Connecticut Children's Specialty Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Connecticut Children's, is a 170 physician, multi-specialty pediatric group (medical and surgical) which provides quality care in Hartford and throughout CT.
The Division includes 8 pediatric pulmonologists in addition to 2 APRNs.
Longstanding pediatric pulmonologist in the Danbury, Connecticut community will be retiring, so our new pulmonologist will assume his practice.
Grow and develop your outpatient general pulmonology practice to fit your skills and interests with the strong support of CCMC administration; opportunity to develop a satellite cystic fibrosis or sleep lab in Danbury.
Call for the Danbury practice will be shared in a 1:4 rotation with the Division. Reciprocal call coverage at CCMC is not required.
Participation in inpatient coverage at CCMC can be arranged if desired.
Academic appointmentat the Assistant/Associate Professor level at University of Connecticut.
Interested candidates must be BC/BE in pediatric pulmonology.
