Ohio-based Akron Children’s Hospital seeks a Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician to join its expanding Division. Akron Children’s Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio and is ranked among the best children’s hospitals by US News and World Report.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of pediatric palliative care physicians, advance practice providers, and a large, interdisciplinary specialized team who attend to the suffering of children and their families served by the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center. The Center focuses on children, prenatal to adult, with complex, chronic or serious conditions and their families, enhancing quality of life in partnership with cure-directed care. Care is provided in inpatient, outpatient, home and community-based settings.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties with subspecialty eligibility/certification in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
