Eagleville Hospital is seeking a PT Hospitalist to provide overnight and weekend coverage for our Medical Department.
Performs histories and physical examinations
Assigns diagnoses and establishes medical treatment plans; determines narcotic dependence and level of care
Makes admission decisions and discharges patients
Exams and treats patients on ambulatory basis and arranges diagnostic procedures
Assesses coexisting medical disorders; orders psychiatric consultation for determining coexisting psychiatric disorders
On call for consultation with other narcotic treatment physicians
Eagleville Hospital, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, education, and prevention of substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and acute psychiatric disorders. The hospital serves as a regional resource for the treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as a national resource for training and research for addiction and related conditions. The hospital also houses an older adult unit, which is short-term program for clients aged 55 years and older in need of a secure, therapeutic environment. The hospital also houses a 16-bed acute psychiatric unit.

M.D. or D.O., A current license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania with a current valid registration
Graduate of an approved school of medicine or osteopathy
Current valid Federal DEA registration
A minimum of two years’ experience working with chemically dependent and or mental health patients preferred
